Headlining as our Lead Chef this year is acclaimed West African chef, Fatou Ouattara of AKADI PDX.

Together with chefs Kiara Hardy of Kitchen Killa Culinary Solutions and Elsy Dinvil of Creole Me Up – two stand-out reception “bites” chefs at our 2023 Gala! – the dinner will showcase the cuisine of Africa and the African diaspora.

That culinary story is just one part of a gala that features 10 chefs and wineries, dance artists and honorees that will remind us of the tides of change created by each ripple we make–the impact of every contribution to equity and justice in Portland.
